The first maybe 30-45 minutes are certainly scary (at least on my initial playthrough because everything was still new) but after that it became a piece of cake imo. Horror is in the eye of the beholder, but Resident Evil 7 does a good job of changing scare tactics the moment it feels like you've grown accustomed. It's not really worth it. Not a Hero is a must since it is literally the ending of the game, I still found it to be way worse than the rest of the game though. It's free, so just play it. End of Zoe is fun, but absolutely irrelevant, also, it's way too expensive for an hour and a half of content in my opinion. The rest of the DLC should've been
